How long do you think Def Leppard will get on stage? They're the only reason I'd go.

When I saw them they played for 90 minutes. Judging from previous setlists, they will probably play the same.

and how was it?

I skipped their date this past month (well actually, I forgot about it, but that just says how uppermost in my mind it was.) As far as I know, the only new song they are playing is Undefeated, which literally makes me gag. The rest are all songs I just can't suffer through without more buffering with new/fresh material or songs that they haven't touched in years or ever.

Then in the other corner we have Bon Jovi..... they have the bases covered and I now see them multiple times on tour.

Something to think about Leppys. You actually lose fans with that nostalgia fest approach.

Just saw Motley in Melbourne with Bret Michaels...killer show. Seeing Def Leppard in Adelaide next month and then I get to see Steel Panther at The House Of Blues in Vegas in November when I head over on holiday. So...not in the 1 gig, but I will see all three spread out over three months. Psyched.

You know, they need to take this thing one step up.
Follow the lead of the Big 4 of Thrash Metal.
Have Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Poison do a Big 4 of Hair Metal.
Stop all the "I'm too cool to play with this band" or "I'm not a hair band" crap. If Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer who have bitched against each other in the past can do the Big 4 tour, surely the hair bands can.

Too much ego, and wouldn't make through day. Just like the peace festival, Bon jovi would close the show, Motley Crue and def leppard would bitch about it, poison would just be happy to be there. and already def and motley are getting on eachother nerves on this tour

the idea is great, but hair bands had huge egos in the 80's and the sad thing about it, they still do

they still bitch about eachother, Nikki sixx does not like bon jovi
