Where are options "nah.", "he's a child molester", and "couldn't care less"?

I think the music is great, with the exception of Invincible, which is just his worst album in my opinion. I've been a big fan of him when I was a teeny bopper, but because of his long breaks between albums and now news about him I lost interest. Invincible could've drawn back the attention if it would've been the comeback I expected it to be, but it again was nothing but 70 minutes of the same.

It's impossible to pick a favourite, as they're all different. Thriller contains soul and pop, Bad contains pop and sex, and so on. But I think that my favourite is HIStory disc 2. It's the album that makes me feel that it truely is Michael Jackson. The album contains a lot of anger, which makes me feel that it gives you an inside look on him. However, as soon as he went on a world tour (America funny enough not being part of that world) he sort of lost it all I think. We all know he's an individual, but because of that his music get's worse as well. Nobody dares to say no to Mr. Jackson because he after all is the one who's got the best selling album ever under his belt. And that's why he's the person he is nowadays.

You asked to comment on his music, but it's impossible to see the two things separate. His music gets worse, and the person Michael Jackson gets weirder.

He was awesome up untill 1995. (Same kinda goes for a certain band we know ) But Invincible was a huge let down, although there were some decent-ish tracks on there, that was as good as it ever got.

He certainly at one time was the King Of Pop but the so-called hasn't released any half-decent material for over 10 years now, infact, hardly any material full stop.

But who knows, after this stupid course case has finished dragging on and if he's proven not guilty, he may get back in the studio and release another great album.

I've liked a few of his singles here and there, but overall, never been a big fan of his music. I've never liked enough singles from any one CD to go buy it.

I'll always remember being about 6 years old and a little boy in my class asked me if I liked Michael Jackson and got irate when I told him I didn't. "Everybody likes Michael Jackson!" he argued.

I got Thriller and I used to dance and sing to Billy Jean in my room when I was just a kid.

Other than that, I don't care about MJ.

Rumour has that he has already a new album finished. I've heard one track of it long ago, it's about him being in jail. It sounds a bit like HIStory and Invincible.

Never heard that.

I liked HIStory and often consider it my favourite MJ album, even though quite a few tracks on there were fillers, so if it's more like HIStory than Invincible then I'd be interested. If it's true, I hope he waits 'til after the case is over and ofcourse if he's proven innocent then MJ can make a huge comeback (If the album is any good that is).

Off the Wall
Thriller
Bad
Dangerous

- One of the greatest series of albums ever released, even more so considering the musical progression MJ went through.

Dangerous pretty much wrote the script for synthpop/funkrapmetal for the next 15 years, quite obviously enormous influences on the Neptunes/JT/Usher etc scene at the moment.

HIStory was disappointing no doubt, as was Invincible, however they're some great songs on both, *when* he's cleared lets hope his next one leaves the mediocre ones for the bin.
