Making of Band 'DC'...........one year on the line.......

If this band every going to happen, then i have to say it is God's miracle, nothing else whould have done it.

i think itd be fun to see if we couldnt make /something/ happen...

This was where we left off on the "big ballad". The other verse has pretty much been discarded by everyone who's seen it, so lets just go with this. Bold parts I added for a better feel. How bout this for the next part:

They tell us we should give this up
Let all we've fought for fall to the floor
God knows we should be over
But I can't walk through your door

I can't bring myself to let go
I hope you can't too
This is only gonna get harder for a while
Then it'll all be through

What do you guys think? Personally, I like the second verse there: "they tell us..." I really like that.

the third verse would scan better if it went thus:

I can't bring myself to let go
I hope that you can't too
It'll only get harder for a while
and Then it'll all be through.

as always feel free to discard my idea if you dont like it....

by the way. i have a decent way of recording arranged so hopefully good quality versions of stuff soon, plus some more of my own stuff.
i knew i bought my sb live for somethign... cant afford an audigy and can now master to tape which is nice... im moving tomorrow and saturday so it wont be till wednesday at the earliest..

I'm looking for a memorable 3-4 line chorus. Something on the order of Meatloaf's:I would do anything for love/anything you've been dreaming of/but I won't do that. Not identical by any means, but similar in that its catchy and short and repeated often. Anybody got any ideas? Anybody seen Walrus around recently? He seems to be absent on this project. I sent him a PM about a week ago and haven't heard back.

Ah, sorry dude! My Internet Browser seems to have decided not to tell me when I have a new PM, so I just have to guess if I've got one or not...
