Making of Band 'DC'...........one year on the line.......

it depends upon when your night time is though allmike... like if i tried uploading at night there /is/ a lot of traffic cause the americans have all just logged on..... hence its easier for me at around 9-11am BST (GMT+1)

Well, in case some of you haven't heard, the guitar track for Heartbreak Town is online, in a webstorage account. If Arash didn't PM you the instructions on how to get there, PM either him or me. I haven't downloaded it yet though, when I log on, I get just a white screen.

I think I may have found the solution to our file-hosting problems (like if Peter doesn't want to host our stuff with the fan mp3s). Some time later this year, Google is going to start an email service. One of the nice things about this free service (I think its free) is that you get a 1-GIGABYTE(!!!) mailbox. We could easily mail the finished songs to a band account, and then give prospective downloaders the account name and password. The downside is that Google retains the right to scan your mail and send you ads based on the content, as well as the right to sell your addressbook to the highest bidder, should they want to raise money. I'll do some more research on this.

Just downloaded it and put it all together. That is great! You did an awesome job on it! Love the solo! One thing though, I still have the vocal track on my computer, and I'm not sure that that track will fit with the guitar track. The sounds are just too different. The vocal track sounds like a ballad, the guitar track sounds like The Distance. Will Sara have to redo the vocals to fit the music?

PS Who hasn't heard it/heard about it? Did you (Arash) just PM me and Tawtami, or did you send the rest of the band the notice? I can forward the info on to everyone else if you want.

vocals are ALWAYS the last thing to be added... specially if i do them

glad u liked it adrian yeah, sara should do the vocals as the last thing, me and her was talking about it the other night, the most clever way seem to be that me and jim record our parts and send it to sara, and she do the mixing and also her parts....

i just send the pm to u adrian, i told the account info to sara through msn, since i have lots of problems with jovitalk these days, can u do me a favor and send the info to other members???
