it amkes no difference really- if cd is easier go for it that way - that way i guess can be done as a wav file as opposed to mp3 and might be able to get better quality- specially with vox as there sometimes are frequency resonances between vox and drums when combinging mp3's....

just keep me posted.

A few things I'll add.

the solo comes in a millisecond out of time. not tooooo noticeable but you can tell there's something not right there. Just somethign to look out for when you lay it down properly.

Dunno what you guys think about this but I think the intro would be great if I lay down a really high eq'd drumset fading in and playing a beat so it almost sounded like a loop (kinda like the start of bounce) it would be me playign n stuff but i think it would be a nice way to break into the guitar part instead of going from relatively quiet to double forte' so abruptly.

If you were up for that, a nice buildup of feedback ont he guitars would be cool too.

I think leaving one of the verses or at least a section of a verse with just the drums playing would sound class too, maybe just some keyboard strings or something in the background?

the chorus is going to be a pretty straight forward 4/4 beat not too different from the loop thats already on it cept there'll be more going on with the bass drum but for the verse I think the beat from with or without wyou would really fit it well.

just the 4/4 but with the floor tom coming in every 7th beat.

jim, i think the fade in drums is a very good idea with a feedback guitar, it will be so cool if the drums and the feedback both fade in and then...BANG, the song starts....

for the verses im thinking of only vocals and drums like you said, but only for first verse, for the 2nd we would need the bass and keyboard strings too...

just listened to the track- i love it! it sounds great, and the solo is like a breath of fresh air in that its so distinct from the rest of the song but fits in really well. wonderful job.

liking the idea arash. you got any stuttering tremolo effects cos that could sound really cool with the feedback too y know kinda like when richie cuts off the sound with the pickup selector on his les pauls.

drums and vox sounds like a good idea for the 1st verse, might lose some momentum if we done it after the chorus.
