Making of Band 'DC'...........one year on the line.......

So is Tawtami ready for recording yet?.
Well about cover song, it is not a bad idea. If one think the song is worht covering then it won't be problem i guess. Well yeah i personaly like some BJ cover espically the one which not released as a single like 'Heart breaking even' or 'My guitar bleeding...'

i guess those songs are a little hard to play
but i think its very good if we cover one of bonjovi's songs, not for the album, just as fun...

we can record Wanted, its even somehow related to the theme of DC's songs.

Well i don't mind covering anysongs actually, but i like to see some progress at a moment about recording.

I posted the lyrics to SON in our "database." I might have some new stuff for you guys later this week. I've got some verses rattling around in my head that could make for a pretty cool song.

Tawtami:How's the recording situation looking?

Arash:If/when the album gets recorded, we should record WDOA. It really ties in, plus like you said, we're a BJ related band.

What do you guys think? Its sort of a Love Me Back To Life type song, maybe a little heavier, the way I hear it in my head. It's not my strongest song IMO and it needs a LOT of work. I've only got a chunk of the first verse and chorus done.

Tawtami:What's going on as far as recording? Are you recording your album now? Gone? Busy?

Hey guys, i'm really sorry i haven't been able to stop in more, i've had an extremely busy summer with so many of my days tied up, just haven't had any time to come in and post, plus my computer completely died so i lost a lot of files and had to get a whole new comp. i did look over the new songs and everything that has been written and i'm loving it all! i'll be leaving again for another week on the first of Sept, but otherwise i should be around more and i will start on some new artwork for y'all! if there's anything specific you have in mind for it let me know.

as for the recording stuff...
i kinda have lots of space now (thanks to the new HDD) am doing my album, though the oannoying thing is that i lost some songs..

with the DC stuff, its coming, slowly, partly is getting ready to recordandpartlyiscoming upiwiththe inspiration which i know you guysunderstand canbe the hard part...

Computers dying spectacular deaths...that sucks. My graphics card died a rather humorous, if annoying death a few months ago. Just crashed one day, the people at the computer repair store fixed it, but they could only get it to work with 3 monitors in the entire store. We wound up getting a new card. Anyway, sorry about you losing all your stuff. Did you have anything backed up?

And it's kinda cool knowing that someone is trying to put music to lyrics that I've helped write....

what's DC's email address? i'm sure i have it here some where but i've no idea where.

i've finished a few designs, all quite different from each other, so you can see some various styles and choose which you prefer, i'll try to upload and post the links to them before i leave this thursday.

DC's email is Traitor@ananzi.co.za. An old email address of mine that I gave to the band when I discovered we couldn't get a high-capacity (in terms of megabytes) address for free.

Looking forward to seeing the new art.
