I saw Metallica in Milan, I-Days Festival, this year, from the Golden Circle. It was pretty disappointing as a show. It was my first Metallica show, 0 connection / interaction with the crowd, lack of energy but great setlist, although very short, so another -.

Yeah, it sucks that your first show was a festival. Metallica often lower the general energy during festivals, I am not sure why. Of course, like all bands there are good and bad shows too. My last three have been outstanding and excellent energy in each. I checked the setlist for your show, that is a very good list for a first show. Bad luck on the overall experience though.

I'm just happy I got to see them. They used to be regular visitors in Greece but I was too young to even know what Metallica is back then

If they come to Greece, which is very possible for their next tour, I might attennd the show, give them a second chance to entertain me

They're a legendary band nonetheless.
