IMO, Mick Mars is perfect for them. He may not be the most technically proficient player, but his riffs are spot on when neccesary, and dirty when possible. Excellent live player as well.
Vince's vocals have been horrible for the most part since the 2005 reunion, though. Even if he's not drunk out of his mind, he usually skips half of the words.
