My first was
Vault in 2003, the 2CD edition with the 2nd disc containing live tracks from the Don Valley Stadium gig in 1993. Already familiar with some of the hits beforehand and I did already have a “copy” of
X the previous year, but
Vault formed the soundtrack to that summer for me and made me really fall for this band.
Yet I still picked up the 2004
Best Of (2CD version) in early 2005. Can’t remember exactly why, especially when I could have bought something like
High ‘n’ Dry or
On Through the Night (albums I was still yet to hear) instead.
