It's brilliant, a real raw, honest account of the Foo Fighters' history up until now, there's a nice little twenty minutes at the end which shows the recording of the new album.

Recommended.
That Docu was fantastic, would love to see Jovi doing something like that-talking to x-members about the drug taking and being honest some brilliant footage too.
Took a bit of balls to record the entire album on Tape though and not digital

I thought Dave came across as a quite ruthless person in parts. This documentary should go some way in casting off the "nicest guy in rock" tag, which I believe he doesn't like.

It's a pity Bon Jovi didn't do this kind of honest film with WWWB. Instead we got a feature length promo for how great Jon is.

Yeah, but Jon is pretty great. I mean, he's the CEO of a major brand!

Still makes me wonder if he realizes how arrogant he is?

I have to admit that the new album didn't exactly blow me away the first few times I heard it- I think I read too many reviews saying how amazing it was and got my hopes up too much and inevitably, when i did listen to it it didn't really live up to my high expectations

Having said that, I've been listening to it a bit more in recent weeks and it has grown on me a lot since my initial listenings. Particular favourites are Walk and These Days (is it only me that can hear a little bit of Jovi in Walk? Or has my dissertation writing made me go crazy? ). Looking forward to watching the documentary when I get back home and if there's a UK tour coming up in the next year or so, I'll be there!

I hear it too. The intro reminds me a bit of When We Were Beautiful, and the lyrical content is a bit similar to something Jovi would write. It's extremely radio friendly, and I hope it does well as a single. Brilliant tune, I wish Bon Jovi could write great songs like that.

Oh gee, Thanks guys. I suggested that about Walk earlier in the thread and there wasn't a peep from anyone. Thanks for making me feel like I'm just weird.

weirdly, I think Everlong is a brilliant pop song but basically everything else by the Foo Fighters is hookless crap. make of that what you will.
