I like the way you put it. I love all their records (except for the one without Vince and most of Generation Swine), seen them on the Dr. Feelgood tour. What a great band they are. Jovi and Crue, what else do you need, right?

I haven´t had the chance to get the new album yet, though.

My CD arrived today. Oddly enough, I held back from downloading advanced copies of the album, aside from a few tracks that got leaked. It's an OK record, not outstanding. Just mindless rockers really, but generally bland uninspired mindless rockers. The title track is still awesome though and one track that really stood out for me was The Animal In Me.

This thing with this album, aside that it acts as a soundtrack to their autobiography, there's nothing really "special" or indifferent about it like their other albums. This is coming from someone who liked the Jon Corabi and Generation Swine albums though. It's kinda like New Tattoo but with the whole Sick Love Song vibe injected into it. But it just sounds like they tried to spead that one great song over 13 tracks.

I'm not dissapointed with it, I guess cause I wasn't that hyped up about it to start with. No doubt I'll be playing it again. It's nice to see them back again though.

In the US, with 30% of the sales in for the week, new Crue album has sold over 47,000 copies so far. They're on a pace to sell about 150K for the week. Not too bad.

Didn't make that, only 99,646, coming in a 4. Coldplay, #1 with over 251K sold. I'm guessing the Crue record drops out of the top ten next week.

I don't either but the new song actually sounds pretty good, I don't mind it.

Ooo I heard LAMF (Los Angeles' Fallen Angels I'm guessing it stands for) and Face Down In The Dirt last night.

I love L.A.M.F, I'm a sucker for openings like that, and The Dirt, hmm, It's ok but I think it'd be a nice b-side instead of being on the actual album.

If it stood for that, the song would be called "L.A.F.A."

I always thought it stood for "Los Angeles Mother ****er".
