New Nickelback song - Gotta Be Somebody

Song is great, at least for me!

Just guessing, but does it sound pretty much the same as every other Nickelback song?

By the title, I thought it was going to be riffing on the theme of Rockstar. That is arguably one of their most famous songs. Instead, Gotta Be Somebody is like Richard Marx's Someone Special by way of Nickelback's Somebody That You're With.

Fantastic song, has hit written all over it. And yes, I realize they're not arty and a kosher rock band. I like them anyway.

Listening to it now. Sounds decent but they're definately getting poppier. Far cry from The State and Silver Side Up. Still probably buy the album though.

I think this song is awesome! Glad they finally got some new stuff out after them re releasing songs from 2006!

Theres 2 sides to nickelback the heavy side and the songs they release!

Most the songs they release seem to be soft songs that are radio friendly but when i buy the album its filled with this heavier side, i dont mind the heavier songs but i prefer their hits as thats why i bought the album!

I've only gotten to the first chorus and I like it, it's very uplifting. I can see this getting stuck in my head.

And I'm kinda excited that Mutt Lange produced this record, I wanna hear the touch he had on them.

I like it, album should be decent if this is anything to go by.

It's different, I'll give it that... A pretty good song though. I like it.

It seems very poppy for Nickelback but then again their first release, Photograph was kinda of poppy to compared to the rest of the album.
