Well, that's just WRONG!

Sounds awesome. I liked the songs of 'Pop' but some of the production and instrumentation puts me off. Discotheque for example has a great riff and hook and could have been alot better a bit rocked up, but keeping the dance feel to it.

So if this new album does indeed have trance elements but, according to Bono, also has some real beffed up guitars on it, I cant wait to here this new sound.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I hate U2 - they don't have just 1 sound, but "meh".
Bill Bailey is a funny bloke!

Goes without saying. Don't get me wrong, I like U2 and own everything from The Joshua Tree onwards including all their Greatest Hits albums. They have good songs, but not a good guitar player.

I'm thinking it's the other way around. I prefered All That You Can't Leave Behind, less middle of the road for me. There were more standout tracks. Still, U2 need something that can draw me back in.

I just found H2DMAAB had more tracks that grabbed me. Not many but more. I'm quite interested in this new album now, cause I like Achtung Baby, Zooropa and Pop. I got a thing for bands who enter a world of complete experimentation.
