Default New U2....

We can now listen to How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb online at U2.com. They put the songs up on Wednesday. So far, I'm loving it. I can't wait until next week!

For what i heard, it sounds great

I saw a bit of the concert in NY last night on TV. What a great idea again.

I haven't seen anything on tv about the show they did last night. I only read an article online about it. They're always doing something funky like that. It's great that they are so into their fans. I'm really wishing I still lived up north this week....

Got my copy yesterday, along with my box set. Don't have a useful opinion about it yet, too many new Jovi sounds in my head...

I don't like it.
That "bomb" song is kinda weird... too bad for a band who once had something like "Angel of Harlem" or "One" ...

I can understand that feeling. I've bought so much new music over the last few weeks that I don't know what I've heard and by who anymore. LOL.

Yeah, me too. And there's still new music on my shelf that I haven't listened at all.
In the meantime I managed though to "analyse" U2's recent effort.
Lyrically rather weak and monotonic/annoying, but I think there are some really good soundscapes on it.
The bonus DVD is also quite good, the version of Vertigo with only Bono and Edge on the banjo is hilarious!
The coolest thing though stays the album title.

I agree with you there! I nicked my dad's copy of it today, and I find it kinda average
