Just bought the album and loving it, so much energy and great tunes. Cant believe its 28 years since their last album and now desperate to see them live. Ive not had a chance to read the credits on the cd yet but is that really Wolfgang playing bass on some of those tracks? Some of it sounds so good youd believe they had Billy Sheehan guesting on it. Ive got to admit though if theres one thing its missing its Michael Anthonys backing vocals which really make up the trademark Van Halen sound.

Van Halen took to the LA Forum tonight to play out a full dress rehearsal of their 2012 show, to a crowd of invited friends, fans and industry folk. And of course I had a contact planted in the crowd. Photos of the event are below.
