Nickelback...again

Why is that?

I am by no means a Nickleback fan but how harsh can you be? And it made you sound like a snob (something I must confess to sounding like sometimes).

I'd expect better, Erik. Different strokes and all that...

Nickelback is dreadful.

May I direct you to the lyrics of the song called "Animals" or "Something In Your Mouth"? Or how every single one of their stupid sappy love ballads sound exactly the same?

I hate Nickleback too but there's no need to call others for liking them. And to be fair, they had Black Stone Cherry as a support act on a previous tour so there's a +1

I hate Bruce Springsteen with a passion. But the man is probably a genius. Nah he IS a genius, but he grates on me more than any other. But I don't chastise people for it. Come on Eric with a K. You have personally told me you like "This Afternoon" and "Photograph"!

You're right, I do like This Afternoon and Photograph! In fact, I like all of Nickelback.





And as for the Springsteen comment... Well, he IS good. I don't like John Mayer at all, but I know he is a fantastic musician - so I don't really care if others like him, he's just not my cup of tea. Nickelback on the other hand have the most degrading lyrics ever, the sappy ballads are more fake than "Joey", and they just musically aren't that great.... They know how to tune their E string down to a D. Woo! There just isn't anything technically good about them. But the thing I hate most about them is their terrible degrading lifestyles and outlooks on life. Drinking, doing drugs and singing about how many girls they had sex with is probably the most uninteresting, overdone, stupid way to make music. And so many people eat it up. That is why I hate them.

Don't like them, pretty much at all. Used to have a roommate who was obsessed with them, played every album ALL the time. Though, I'd never shoot their records, so I guess my hate isn't that burning. ;p

But yet songs about world politics, light at the end of the tunnel, world recession and trying to make ends meat is more appealing to you? Wowsas.

You're 19 right? You're meant to do all of the above you quoted. So what. You're still a kid. Leave all the seriousness to us 30 somethings! I dont care much for Nickelback's lyrics to be honest. I dont listen to them religiously or anything. I just want to be entertained at a damn good rock show. Reason why i'm going
