LOL. You're taking the piss on so many levels and no one seems to know?

Also... I'm supposed to graduate after this year.

Hmmm. They seem to be going easy on you because they think you're an innocent newbie.

Oli, you ever gonna put them out of their misery and post a link to this thread?

Or just keep winding them up?

You're right - and that surprises me. I have seen them savage Bon Jovi fans in the past. Maybe a few of them have actually gone to some shows - or even seen Jon with Bruce. hmmmmm.......

Pffft - Oli has mercy on no one.

I'll think up something that'll rub up the wrong way. Right after I've listened to this song - which funnily enough - is War [live] by Bruce Springsteen.

Bruce does a magnificent job on that song - but it's not his. It was written in 1969 by Edwin Starr about the Vietnam war ( his name was actually Charles Edwin Hatcher).

Oh Kathleen - THANK YOU! A mate at college and I were racking our brains trying to remember who sang the original! Dunno why we just didn't use the net actually...

I was listening to the one on the 3-disc live complilation I keep forcing everyone to listen to it, it tricks everyone into thinking some sorta ballad is about to follow then BAM! WAR! HUH! WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?!

No problem That 3 disc live set is one of the best - I love it. For more recent stuff the Live in New York City (2000 - audio album and DVD) is unsurpassed as a live show in my opinion. Maybe Pink Floyd's Pulse is a great live DVD but it's also no better than Live in New York City.
