Default Paul Rodgers

Are any of you in to Free, bad company or Paul rodgers solo???

I really love all of his bands and he is without a doubt the best rock and roll singer out there... Just listen to one of the songs from the 70s and compare to when he sings them now on the queen tour... He is wonderful and if you want to hear him perform just watch the merchants of cool DVD and you will se what a great voice the man got and he is 55years old...

And when it comes to the queen tour... Paul really sings the songs with the power the songs need... there isnt a rock n roll singer out there that can compare to Paul Rodgers

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I saw them last night.... It was good, but I can't help but feel that he put more effort and energy into his own songs thatn the Queen ones

He's a great singer, no doubt about that. I'm into Free, but I've only got a CD that I made with about 15 songs on. He can sing just about anything. Obviously the rockers sound great like All Right Now and Wishing Well, etc, but I really like his voice for the slower chill out songs as well, like Travellin' in Style, and Get Where I Belong

I'd guess that's only natural. He knows his own songs so damn well, it's something he's had many years to practice.

Well I guess it's like you said he knows his own songs so well... But I think he has done an amazing jobb with the queen songs... and he is also under a lot of pressure cause he has to learn so many new songs... They are ading new songs all the time so he is under a lot of presure... songs he is doing really great are I want it all, kind of magic, tie your mother down and he is kicking ass on we will rock you...

Free is a great band and I thik the chill out songs are great to(my brother jake is one of them)!! I recomend to get the merchants of cool(Bad company reunion in 2002) DVD cause he sings the old songs better now than he did back than... another thing if you like free than you will love bad company... songs like rock n roll fantasy, rock steady, burning sky! it's wonderful... and the power and emotions when he sings!!!

saw Queen @ MEN, v impressed with PR, thought he pulled it off v well, not easy considering the circumstances.

All right now flipping rocked! His vocals at the end of bohemian rhapsody were brilliant.

I'm in the mood for a bit of Paul Rodgers. I'm gonna listen to my free CD now. Haven't listened to them for ages.

You should really get the merchants of cool DVD... The versions of all right now and wishing well are wonderful and the rest of the songs are bad company and it's really really good!!!

When it comes to albums than I recomend Free: fire and water and Highway

Bad Company: Straight shooter, Burning sky, run with the pack and Bad company(the first one)

Paul Rodgers: "Cut lose" and a must have is "mudy water blues tribute it's fantastic and Sambora plays on one song other on it are Brian may, slash, jeff beck and david gilmour... another great one is his live album simply called "live" and you should get his albim "Now" from 1997
