Some info about the link would have been appreciated
I don't want to see anything about The Wall Live because I want to be surprised when I go there next year

I salute you,
TS

Going to see The Wall on December 5th in Los Angeles. Decided at the last minute. It was actually an audience shot video that convinced me to do it. I only saw part of it before going, "Ok, I don't want to see anymore.. I'm going.

I can tell it's going to be an emotional, gut wrenching show with a very contemporary look at our modern day reality.

Reasonably sure we've both seem the same boot. Unlke you, I can't get enough of it (have to wait till next May to see the real thing. Need Input! ).

Can say without ruining it for you, it IS surprisingly emotional in places. Bring the Boys Back home really hits you. Comfortably Numb looks absolutely stunning.

Beautiful art - all the contemporary images are fantastic. Kinda wished there were more of them. It's definitely better than the Berlin production, but kinda wished they'd been braver in updating it. Found myself asking what elements were really essential to The Wall as a piece.

But all minor grumbles. Every chance it could be a once in a lifetime show (alongside Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, the Police, Broooce at the Albert Hall....)

Absolutely. The reason this show still holds up more than 15 years later is the fact that no matter how dated the equipment gets... the artistry that went into employing the available technology can't be overlooked.
