Does anyone in this thread care to give us an opinion of the new CD they'd just bought instead of just listing it?

eg.

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
It's great! Maybe a little long (im not a fan of having more than 11-12 tracks in an album) but there are some great timeless pop songs here.

It's the same with the 'Last Movie You Saw?' thread, dont just list it let us know what you thought of it!

Ah, but it usually takes a few listens to build a decent impression of a CD

Yeah but first impressions are interesting too -- you're usually thinking the complete opposite by the time you've had a good listen.

I post my opinions in the Movie thread, only time I don't is when I truly can't be bothered Or sometimes I have too much to say about a film and I don't wanna be talking forever about it.

And CD's I usually list them here either before or whilst I'm listening. I even commented on my last one, leave me alone!

Media markt Germany has several CDs in special offers for less than 10 EUR each (8,90 EUR and 9,90 EUR) so I bought Bruce Springssteen's Working on a dream (okay I had bought this anyway LOL) and Axl Rose & Co.'s Chinese Democracy today.

Working On A Dream - Bruce Spingsteen

OR RATHER I DIDN'T BECAUSE STUPID SAINSBURY'S DIDN'T HAVE IT EVEN THOUGH IN THE WINDOW IT SAYS THEY DO

Couldn't even find Gabriella Cilmi's deluxe edition debut CD either to compensate

That's really surprising. Tut at Sainsbury's! Is there a Co-Op near you? Cause you can get Gabriella's CD there really cheap

Just got my copy of Working On A Dream now, off to listen to it after I've done my essay.

The man working at Sainbury's said that they either didn't get any deliveries earlier or not enough to stack on a shelf. I mean, WTF? If they've got a copy they should frickin' gimme it!

And yup, I have a co-op nearby, but it does not do CD's Sainsbury's did do GC's Deluxe Edition one for like a fiver but the next day when I went back it wasn't there I check back there everyday as well to see if it's there, I'm so sad
