Not sad, just dedicated

OK, I've just started listening to Working On a Dream. Not much standing out for me right now, but once I've given it a fair few listens, I'll be back with my opinion. I think it's a grower, definately.

Ah dedicated, good term, I'll use that excuse more often

Oh and I've heard My Lucky Day and Life Itself from the new Bruce album btw, the latter being a great song, the former not too bad either. I'm gonna have to get dad to drive me to Tesco's later to grab a copy

Destination Anywhere Special Edition - JBJ
I had the normal album version already, but this popped up and for a couple of quid i couldn't resist. That's the damn 'completist in me i guess! It's nice to have some decent recordings of Jon solo. And of course the main album is really good. It really is a step away from 'Bon Jovi'.
I remember reading a Kerrang Magazine once that said Ugly was the greatest thing Jon Bon Jovi ever put his name to......i wouldn't go that far!

Kings of Leon - Only By The Night
I've never really been into them but this was the #1 album in Aust last year and I liked the singles and had a few people recommend the album to me, so I picked it up last week. Only listened to it once so far but I'm not disliking anything on it.

Johnny Lima - Shine On
He's the kind of artist you listen to if you're in a "damn I wish the 80s had never ended and glam metal had never died" mood. Not his best work, bit weak lyrically but it has some great hooks.

Gotta get Bruce's album next. I've heard it, and it's alright but there's nothing really flooring me yet.

Working On A Dream - Bruce Springsteen

Sainsbury's actually had it today.

Well, I'm only half way through the first track but already it's better than the Tunnel Of Love album, man, I don't think that album will ever grow on me fully.

I wanna skip to Life Itself already cos I know I love that song.
