I'm a fan, take 2. what did you think of it?

I'm liking axl's new solo disc a lot. don't really get too bogged down on the fact it took 14 years and is under the GnR moniker. other then the spoken passages in madagascar, I don't have a problem with any of the tracks on the disc. hopefully axl turned over all he had in the can for this project, and we can get another disc worth of songs from these sessions. sametime next year there's supposed to be another disc;but how can anyone be confident of that. I do enjoy that low/high vocal combo by axl ie shacklers revenge. soloing on the songs above average. Fav tracks - This I Love, IRS & Street of Dreams.

on a side note. I didn't like izzy and duff singing on GnR songs in place of Axl. I know izzy has his name attached to some great gnr songs, but Izzy's solo cds blow. can't get into velvet revolver with scott weiland @ the mike. duff's believe in me disc, and the snakepit cds are decent; but do not measure up to chinese democracy. For me, Axl was clearly the main talent in GnR.

Chi Dem was alright. I don't hate anything on it but I don't love it (though I've only listened to it a handful of times). But I didn't approach it expecting to hear the GNR of old so I don't think that has clouded my perspective the way it has for some people.

Oh, and bash Bruce at your own peril.

I personally really don't like it, probably my least favourite on the CD

I bought an interesting CD.. have't really got a fair chance to listen to it yet...

Revolver - The Beatles.

Even though Ferret is negative to me sometimes.... he's got good musical taste

Before Christmas...
-Angel Down Sebastian Bach One of THE best CD's I've bought... It's got the heavy metal of the 80's, released in '07. Purely amazing!

-Dying for the World, W.A.S.P. Another one of THE best CD's ever!!! This is W.A.S.P. at their best, hands down. Just an outstanding album.

-Still Climbing, Cinderella It was impossible to find this in-stores and online... so I had to resort to itunes. CD kicks total ass, despite it's lower reputation compared to the first three. Now I'm just waiting for Tommy's solo album!!!

More recently...
-Chinese Democracy, Guns N' Roses I was reluctant to buy it when I first heard it off myspace... but I gradually came to like it. Best tracks by far are This I Love, Shackler's Revenge, Sorry, Better, and Chinese Democracy. The others have yet to (possibly) grow on me.

-Dirty Penny, Dirty Penny My favorite new sleaze band, I decided to get their album. (Haha, via utorrent).

CD's to buy:
Sebastian Bach, (Country album)
Sebastian Bach, (Angel Down follow-up)
Bon Jovi (Whatever they decide to do this year)
