So the "metal education" is working! Are you into black metal Alex ? Personally "I hate Danny's voice. Have you heard any of the CD's I mentioned in the other thread?

Yeah, it seems to be working

I don't like Dani's voice either - he sounds like a crow at times - but the music is really awesome! A friend of mine sent me some CoF tracks and I instantly loved them. So I'm exploring that path now, along with some Finnish metal bands. This means I haven't checked your suggestions yet; I first need my paycheck

Anyway, not sure if I'm totally into black metal, but I do know I like it loud and noisy.

Hmmm then maybe you should try some Darkthrone, especially their latest albums (Norwegian black metal at it's best) and some Immortal. At the heart of Winter from Immortal is a masterpiece. If you like it loud and noisy some In Flames wouldn't hurt either. Try to borrow some CDs from your friends and don't spend your paycheck in bands you've never heard of. If you want I can send you a couple of mp3s to check some bands out. Send me your e-mail.
