There is no way you could have been watching Live in New York City. Ain't no way that could be called a folk band.

You must have gotten a hold of the Seeger Sessions DVD - which is folk (and a lot of other things). That's not my favorite either. Go watch Live in New York City - or the official Live in Barcelona 2002 concert release. Now THAT'S Bruce LOL.

Or check out the Springeteen live in London DVD that came in the Born To Run 30th Anny. Box Set. Not sure if it's been released sep.

Anyway, back on topic:
I bought "U218:SINGLES" and Poison's "Poison'd" today.
Both are really good..

It was Live in Dublin one i got .Trust me to get the wrong one ! OK i'll get the one from NewYork and the one from London . I take it its more rocky?

The one fromthe Odeon is awesome.
As for New York, I don't own the DVD, but I own the double live album of the shows, and it kicks ass.

rofl Russ...you thought the Dublin DVD is how Bruce is normally? hehehehe

Live In New York City DVD is IMMENSE! Going from like The River slowly and suddenly into Youngstown (woowoo Nils!) and carried on by Murder Inc..fantastic stuff... And stuff like Jungleland/Lost in The Flood..woooo
