Default Rap Record Label Offers Ransom For Music Hard Drive in Stolen Car

Quote:
UPROXX: Quality Control Records...(is) the recording home of...The City Girls, Migos, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty...

(QC's) CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas...(wrote on) Instagram...
“Attention: Atlanta. Whoever just jumped in the Dodge Journey and stole the car at the Chevron on Northside Dr., that was my (studio) engineer’s car with an important hard drive in it. I know you just doing what you do and I’m not knocking your hustle, ’cause I used to steal cars in the ’90s. I have $20K(USD) cash money for the hard drive back.”
While it’s certainly admirable that Pee is seemingly willing to forgive the slight transgression...I don’t know that paying off thieves is such a good precedent to set.

Update: Per the (Instagram) post from Pee...
Hard Drives Secured. Thank You...Nuthin 2 Prove Album On The Way (from) Lil Yachty
Here's hoping that the car was worth LESS than $20K -- and that no one ended up needing parts of their bodies "secured" at a hospital, LOL!!!

They need to call in a cyber security consultant and look into virtual private networks and/or private clouds. And there's bright side -- there could have been a baby in that car...
P.S. One of the City Girls is in the midst of spending six months in jail for credit card fraud.
