There is
better Phish than farmhouse, but an accessible introduction is probably the best way of getting to know them. Billy Breathes also is well, well worth an hour of your time.

They have a tradition of playing Halloween shows in "costume" as another band.
They have done (in reverse Chronological order)
- Exile on Main St (2009)
- Velvet Underground - Loaded (199
- Talking Heads - Remain in Light (1996)
- The Who - Quadrophenia (1995)
- The Beatles - The White Album (1994)
And once they played DSOTM at an underattended show to give the audience who had made the journey a treat.
Honestly, a bootleg of that show is how I discovered Pink Floyd.
