Their restart in 2004 I really liked, and have managed to mature their sound. Expecting some great songs.

2004 - Start From The Dark Album. Have great sound, best songs; Got to Have Faith, Start From The Dark, Flames.

2006 - Secret Society. Pretty cool Rock n Roll. Always the Pretender is great. Other featured; Let The Children Play, Secret Society, The Getaway Plan.

2009 - Last Look at Eden. Feels their masterpiece. Sounds as a mix of Muse with Led Zeppelin. Better songs, all album is great, Gonna Get Ready, The Beast, In My Time.

2012 - Bag of Bones. Some southerners arrangements, something of Blues, good choruses.

2015 - Wars of Kings. The mix is not very good, but the songs is kicking ass. Hole in my pocket has the spirit of The Cult.

It's weird, as a fan of 80's hard rock, I prefer the "new" Europe to the old.

Start from the Dark, Secret Society and Last Look at Eden are all good albums. Don't remember much about Bag of Bones and the last album they did, I didn't pay attention to because I didn't think much of the lead single. Will keep an ear out for the new album though.

I am exactly the same. Their output now is fantastic and a lot better than their older stuff in my opinion.

If only I could say the same for Jovi...

I remember buying their greatest hits not long after buying Start from the Dark, which focused on just their 80's albums and thought it was crap. Haven't touched it since. Prisoners in Paradise, which was the last album they made before they broke up in 1991, was ok though. "Talk to Me" was a good track. But no, I much prefer the new Europe.

I'd be happy if their new stuff was at least almost as good as their early albums, let alone better!
