As for Robbie, what made me hate him was that stupid Milennium song, which a lot of people here loved. When I heard other songs by him, I thought he was a pretty good artist. I hope he does break into this market. I would buy his Greatest Hits album.
Maybe they did and our good old British mentality that we don't like success has made out that they didn't do as well as they did but it's pretty much agreed over here that radiohead did better than oasis stateside which thinking about it now is probably untrue.

watched the documentary thatsd going to be on their new dvd the othe rnight and alan mcgee said that they did break america but they were just so inherently Mancunian that they'd never really be massive.

I don't think Radiohead did quite as well. OK Computer did alright I suppose, but I think Oasis was quite popular for awhile and received more airplay.

I have to get used to the new song. First time I heard it I was like: this CAN'T be Robbie Williams... it sounds so strange! But when the song continued, I recognised his voice. Maybe I have to listen to it more often. Some songs are getting better when you listen to it more than once
