The London Paper gave it 3/5 ... not that this particularly interests me, being as I've never heard a U2 album in full, but I figured I'd report in

Have U2 always been a critics wet dream?
And have they always got bags of airplay and all media loving them?

I don't get it myself. I think Bono is a dick and their music is average and never inspired me to actually buy one of their CDs....But that is beside the point.

Bought the Special Edition today (The digipack one, with the booklet, poster, and downloadable film, NOT the $90 Box Set ripoff) But I will say this, the packaging is awesome.

As far as I can remember, YES, but this is ridiculous. The album is a bit more "arty" than their recent albums and I think that's the reason they give it 5 out of 5. It's not close to that in my book anyways. 3 out of 5 at the most so far.
