I've never heard any of Sebastian Bach's solo material.
Very patronising question I know but is it any good? Skid Row sounding or different? I have Skid Row and Slave To The Grind, and have heard a few tracks from Subhuman Race and so far everything I've heard is ace.

I haven't heard too many songs, but it's more metal than Skid Row... as in Priest or Maiden, not Metallica or Megadeth, though.

It depends. Some songs are different from Skid Row but others are, well, not.

Here's one of his new songs, By Your Side, which could easily be an old Skid Row ballad. This is from a show I went to, though I didn't film it.

Skid Row’s debut album has now been re-released as a 30th Anniversary Digital Deluxe Edition, and Sebastian Bach is touring to promote it;

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/ski...ve-performance

"Skid Row: 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition" track listing:

01. Big Guns
02. Sweet Little Sister
03. Can't Stand The Heartache
04. Piece Of Me
05. 18 And Life
06. Rattlesnake Shake
07. Youth Gone Wild
08. Here I Am
09. Makin' A Mess
10. I Remember You
11. Midnight/Tornado
12. Forever (bonus track)

Live at the Marquee, Westminster, California (April 28, 1989):

01. Makin' A Mess
02. Piece Of Me
03. Big Guns
04. 18 And Life
05. Sweet Little Sister
06. Rattlesnake Shake
07. I Remember You
08. Here I Am
09. Youth Gone Wild
10. Cold Gin

Shame that there’s no physical release for this and that there’s no demos or in-studio bonus tracks but if it’s true that the original masters are indeed lost, then this is the most anyone can expect.

There will be a another re-release in a few years time when the band own the publishing rights. They had nothing to do with this release.
They want to release vinyl and other unheard tracks when they own rights in 5 years time.

Has that been confirmed?

I've not purchased the album yet and it's only the live tracks that I don't have, but the ten live tracks at 99p on iTunes totals up to the total price of the whole album. If what you're saying is true, then I'll happy hang fire for another 5 years.

Straight from Dave Sabos and Rachel bolans mouth on the Eddie trunk podcast.

They don’t own publishing rights at moment. I think it’s either 3 or 5 years until they do.
