Default Steve Vai or Gary Moore

Ok...I decided to drop the G3 show in Budapest that takes place on the 11th to go on the 10th to the Gary moore show in Bucharest.I managed to sell my Steve Vai ticket.
Now what do you think, was it a wise decision?I have seen Steve Vai a few years ago but not with Satriani.he was alone.
On the other hand I have never seen Gary moore before and I tought this might be my last chance to see him...wjhat do you think?

Guitarists v guitarist, I'd go Vai every time... In fact I'd say the only person alive who can match the man now is Mr Beck (and then some!).

However, I wasn't that impressed with the G3 concert. Vai was amazing, but it was just far too short... You know when you see a 2h30 show, that you'd be more than happy for them to carry on for another hour plus, but part of you feels at least a bit satisfied, like you've had a 'show', well that's not what you get with the G3. You get the feeling Vai is trying to cram thigns into an hour, and is leaving out well rehearsed pieces, which he's forced to leave out. He finishes his set and it's amazing, but you just don't feel satisifed, paticularly as he's followed by Satch and you really feel like you've been cheated out of a big of magic to be bored by a show poney.

I'd say going for Moore was the right show. I think Vai would have been better, but then the show Vai is playing in now isn't paticularly strong, and Moore is well worth seeing! Plus Vai will be around next year to give his all next year, worth waiting for that.

ROMANIA POSTPONED

Unfortunately, the July 10th, show at Arenele Romane, Bucharest, Romania, is postponed until further notice.

Gary is unwell and until we have the full detail's, we do not know when or if this show can be rescheduled before the summer tour ends or possibly a new date added for later in the year.

As soon as we receive any further details, we will post them to the web site.

Something like that has never happened to me before....I mean what the ****? I miss a G3 tour just because Gary Moore is unwell....at least I'll have something to tell my grandchildren about when they'll see my Thin Lizzy Cds...f*ck!
