Default The 3 New Van Halen Songs...

How many have heard them?? They are all pretty awesome.. I want a CD full of new material!! Learning To See starts off kinda slow and picks up and gets pretty heavy. It's a great song. It's About Time is a great song with a heavy riff... The lyrics aren't too good though. Up For Breakfast is just plain heavy. I'm not liking the lyrics for this song either. What is your favorite of the three?

Ryan

I thought the 3 songs are just okay... I'm a die hard VH fan and I thought Sammy would come up with better melodic hook than this. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I knew these 3 songs were written in a hurry. The heaviness of the songs is probably the most encouraging thing. I know VH can be heavy and melodic judging from Humans Being and Feelin (from Balance).

I'd like to have a new studio album as well. I'd like to hear some songs with insane hooks like Dreams or Top Of The World.

So far just heard them on bootleg....dunno. somehow mediocre. Not bad, but, not impressive either. On the other hand, VH is good/great most of times so they must be at least ok. Maybe I was expecting too much....
