Having been a devoted Beatles fan since 1981 (that was when I heard the album With The Beatles for the first time), I have been head over heels getting to hear yet one more Beatles song.

It obviously sounds a bit artificial but I really enjoy it anyway. Getting to hear Lennon’s voice one more time gives me the chills. The quality of production is far superior as compared to the two new tracks released back in the nineties.

Yet it makes me sad indeed. By the end of the seventies, after a long hiatus, John was finally ready to come back with a bunch of awesome new songs (for example Starting Over, Woman, Watching The Wheels…). Who knows, maybe the Beatles could even have reunited in the eighties? No one will ever know.
