the darkness v busted

I just stuck permission to land on there and I noticed that there's more songs on it i can't stand than on busteds new one.

out of about 15 songs on the busted album there's only one thats absolutely deplorable and that I'll skip but on the darkness album there's a handful of crap that i've never really gave much thought before it's put in this light.

Again, just an opinion and there's great tracks on both albums.

Busted are AWFUL they seriously make me fell physically sick. They call them selfs rock they are about as rock as Britney.. They are a boyband and they dont see that.. At least with Busted wannabe Mcfly they admitt they are a boyband and they are tinsy winsy bit better then Busted. Now you all know wot i think about The Darkness... Anyone who thinks Busted are better then The Darkness when they are on a Bon Jovi message board is .. well... stupid .... (Except you Jim of course :P )

Busted are actually pretty frank about the fact that they are poppy. charlie wants to be taken more seriously point being he knows they're not.

From what I've heard of Busted (mainly just the four singles from the first album), they do not have a single song that I like. Which is actually pretty band, because even bands I despise tend to have at least one song that I like (case In point: Good Charlotte- Hold On). Busted have none. Permission To Land comprises of 8 songs that range from good to pretty great, but does have two songs that are absolute shit (Givin' Up and Stuck In A Rut, truly two of the worst songs I have ever heard). So I will indeed say The Darkness

Actually if it wasnt for their dumb lyrics they wouldnt be that bad. They had one song out recently, whos David? thats not a bad song. Whereas with the Darkness, any half decent songs are ruined by Justin Hawkins Voice. If I had to say which act will be around the longest, id go with Busted.

I prefer the Darkness, but I think Busted will be around longer. In fact I predict some big things for Busted!!

the best songs by busted are so *not* the singles that have been released... as for them being rock... if you go and see them they are a hell of a lot more *rock* than they are made out to be - anyhow, define *rock* in this present day, age, and culture.

they actually managed to win me over when i took my little sister to see them, (the night they recorded the DVD)

as for McFly- i think they are fantastic!!!! a big change, and they also have some great songs, and some may disagree here but they are "rock" too - just not the big anthemic 80's rock tunes we've all come to know and love, but more of the early rock 'n roll

I have seen them, and as I'm sure I've mentioned before, all I remember is getting repeatedly getting kicked in the back of the head by a little girl on someones shoulders behind me.

Darkness are easily the more interesting band

It's when Busted try to do this "rock n' roll" thing that makes them look stupid. I was watching Tonight With Jonathan Ross on Friday night, when they show the green-room backtage and I see Busted sitting there trying to look really rock n' roll with their bottles of booze. It just looked quite pathetic to me. It just looks really fake to me.

This is what you could say is similar with The Darkness. You really don't know whether to take them seriously or not and to be honest, both bads really appeal to a similar audience even though I'm sure plenty of Darkness fans would try to deny this.

The Darkness all the way. Busted are just a boygroup and not even a good one. Their songs sound like they were spit out by a lama
The Darkness, not the best discovery on Earth, but if they will bring back rock to where it was 10 years back, it's ok for me...
