I GUARANTEE there are people bitching about how that set sucks, just like they do with every other friggin set. In any case, I'd take that ANYtime.

I forgot that you were going to be there Alana. If that was your first show you got really spoiled LOL. I hope you enjoyed the hell out of it.

If you need help with recording, pm me, I can give you a tutorial or some pointers. I'm sure you are aware that there are multiple sources available from last night even without your recording. As one guy always says - god bless the tapers

Alana, we have a special club for all the tapers that Kathleen mentors! Pretty soon we should elect officers and make up a secret handshake.

Seriously, I'd have never tried it if it hadn't been for Kathleen and Paul. They've been a huge help!

BTW, I got a recording the first time I tried at a Bruce show, but I came very close to getting caught by security. (I even recorded myself lying to security!) Oops. I hope my next attempt is uneventful.

Thanks Kathleen and Terri for the encouragement! I did grab a recording but I was looking to have my own little keepsake from the show. Oh well at least I got some practice in on a show where there are multiple other sources!

I think I'm gonna try to save up for the Canon HV30 since the results are really nice and try to tape some video to share with you all of who have shared multiple recordings with me. The only thing I'm worried about is security. If Terri almost good caught with audio, surely video would be a lot harder to conceal.

My problem was where my ticket was. I had what I thought was a good ticket that ended up being a really good ticket which meant LOTS of security around. And one of the guards just happened to see when I started the recording. But he didn't ask to look in my bag when I lied to him that I wasn't recording. I have very average seats in Charlotte and Nashville, so I'm not expecting to have trouble then.

Just finished downloading the bootleg compilation TOTAL DARKNESS.

5 discs of live stuff from the Darkness tour

I'd express even more happiness with exagerrated smiley's and exclamtion marks but tagging every damn ****ing track has taken away all my excitment. People always play against my OCD

Oli - the Darkness tour was one of the best - it should blow you away. Bruce was finally out of the contract that took away most of his earnings and he was free just to tour and play stuff. He was on fire

I've only listened to about 5 random tracks from it so far and I'm already blown away!

I haven't download many bootlegs so far, but I'm trying to hear shows from different tours.

So far the Tunnel Of Love Express is my favourite so far The one show from that tour is Stockholm and it blows me away everytime - especially the first half of the show. The long instrumental introduction of Tunnel Of Love and then after that song how it explodes into Boom Boom and then followed by Adam Raised A Cain - just genius. And Cover Me flows into Brilliant Disguise just as well as it does into I'm On Fire on the live boxset.

And at the mention of Adam Raised A Cain - I was listening to it a while ago on this Total Darkness compilation...I don't think I've ever heard a bad performance of this song ever. I hope to hear experience it live one day.

I always have the same issues. Not fair at all.

Hopefully we may also get a nice Darkness boxset to give us a high quality show in the not too distant future.

I'm hoping so too. Not sure how much chance there is getting one before the end of the year though

Also - another day, another bootleg needs downloading to feed my Bruce addiction. I'm downloading an awesome DVD with two shorts gig on it, one is Bruce on the Today Show and the second is a Patti Scialfa solo gig I'm only downloading it for the Patti show to be honest. I love that woman.

And the second boot I'm downloading is a DVD of Bruce in Paris on the BITUSA tour. Pro Shot and everything
