Also - another day, another bootleg needs downloading to feed my Bruce addiction. I'm downloading an awesome DVD with two shorts gig on it, one is Bruce on the Today Show and the second is a Patti Scialfa solo gig I'm only downloading it for the Patti show to be honest. I love that woman.

And the second boot I'm downloading is a DVD of Bruce in Paris on the BITUSA tour. Pro Shot and everything

Sad news from brucespringsteen.net:

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND CANCEL SPRINT CENTER SHOW DUE TO DEATH IN FAMILY
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 26, 2009) - Due to a death in Bruce's immediate family, tonight's show at Sprint Center has been unavoidably cancelled. All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. Bruce and The Band deeply appreciate the understanding of our Kansas City audience and look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.

LENNY SULLIVAN
Lenny Sullivan, Bruce's cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last ten years, passed away today at the age of 36. A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family.

Sad News...Thoughts with bruce and family, he was really young.

On a lighter note i just realised that the whole capitol theatre show from 1978 is on youtube, there goes any school work i was planning on doing for the next couple of hours

Working on the Highway is great fun live! Hopefully you get to see it one day.

That Paris DVD is great from what I've seen on YouTube. From memory, Sherry Darling has all the doctor schtick. I may be wrong though... Also a great version of Out in the Street.

Very sad news about Lenny Sullivan. Thoughts with his family, the band and the crew at this time.

I did hear it live, at my only Bruce gig I gotta admit, I did enjoy it then and when I got home from Scotland a few days later I learned it on guitar. Then I suddenly hated it again

And yes, thoughts go out to Lenny Sullivan's family, Bruce's family, The E Street Band and everyone involved with Lenny in some way

It's not been a good few years for Bruce and the band as far as losing friends is concerned.
