That's probably my biggest concert regret. Had I not been been booked in Atlantic City that weekend, with all the AAR fanclub stuff booked up, I would have spent anything to be at that show. Especially since I've only gotten 2 River songs live.

I think they're getting the legends mixed up with the legend-wannabes

Basically gotta laugh at anything that implies Neil's anything less than a true legend.

Yeah I could kick myself for not going either even though there were ok prices on the flights and good tickets to be had. However over the past 29 years of being a Bruce fan I've managed to get 15 out of the 20 songs but it still would have been awesome to have been there. So glad we got the DVD and awesome audio

Just to hope back to this for a second, I actually posted this on my Facebook a while ago (anyone whose FB or Twitter friends with me knows I rip Beck apart very often) and bitched about how dumb he is for never reading the lyrics, and a person responded:
"You actually thought Glenn Beck could read? The real shame here is on you."

1) Why do you like him/them?

For me first and for-mostly it's his live act that drew me in. The first DVD I saw was (Barcelona 2002) I just sat in my seat frozen for two hours solid. I never felt such a range of emotions while watching a musical act, from the inspirational The Rising to the pure fun of Prove it all night then onto the tear jerking Empty Sky. I was sold, all within the opening four songs. I smiled to myself and knew I'd just found something extraordinary.

So for me it's the range of emotions he can bring out in me. I've never once doubted his integrity either and I know his song writing comes from somewhere deep inside of him.

2) Best album?

Darkness On The Edge Of Town

This album feels so cinematic and full of raw power. You can hear the hunger in his voice and fire in his belly. Not a single filler track, just wall to wall genius.

3) Best Song?

Badlands

I sing the lyrics to this song almost everyday, I don't even mean to it's just ingrained in my psyche. It's all about hope and breaking out of medicority, it's like a hymn to me.

4) Best gig you've seen?

I've only been to one show (Dublin last year) but it's the best show I've ever been to. Only people who see Bruce live can relate to the feelings you get at his shows, Religious is the only word to describe it.

*I think we need a Favourite member of The E Street Band Question.

Mine would be a split between Little Steven and The Mighty Max Weinberg

The best album for me at the moment of him is BITUSA but I am currently listening more of his albums and try to get into them so this might change.

Best song, now thats a tough one.
I cannot pick one. I see you like Badlands a lot, the song does nothing to me apart of the whoo whoo whoo in the end
Land of Hope and Dreams is an alltime favorite of mine, especially the live version of the Barcalona dvd is played a lot. The 'People Get Ready' part of the end makes the song complete.

I only seen him once live and that was by far the best concert I been to. He was sick at that concert and it already was postponed to the day after the original date. He played only 2 hours. Highlights of the show were Gypsy Biker, Reason to Believe and Sinterklaas is Coming to Town. Santa Clause is Coming To Town made it's tourpremiere in Holland but because we have another fest in Holland at the start of December (Sinterklaas) he changed the lyrics a bit on stage which was awesome.

I salute you,
TS
