I ripped the audio of the hyde park dvd and listening to it quite a lot. Am really into 'Trapped' right now cause it fits the situation I am in. I really like the keyboard-melody which makes it a bit more tuneful and gives a lot of depth to the song in my opinion.

Ok, I will give up explaining what I mean now in my crappy English for tonight

I salute you,
TS

Man, your English isn't crappy at all!

The version of Trapped is brilliant as is the version of seeds!

2) Best album?

Donīt know if itīs BITUSA or Magic.

3) Best Song?

Because The Night

4) Best gig you've seen?

Seen him only once (Helsinki, Finland a few years ago). Great, great concert. I guess his concerts are always great.

Just listened American Land of the Hyde Park DVD and I really like it when the band sets in for the last time on the D and when Bruce calls on to go to 'The Funky G' the band pauses a bit cause his announcement is late and Max just gives the good beat to get the band going again. Love it !

Haha I never said it was didn't Jimmy Cliff release it? I might be completely wrong with that one though just because Bruce didn't write it, it doesn't take anything away from it.

I'm reading a book just now called Written In My Soul which is interviews with about 30 songwriters dating from the mid-80s.

There's a couple of right bell ends on there that's heads are so far up their own arse it's unbelievable but Bruce is pretty humble about how he wrote about getting out of town and leaving the place behind and how he coped with when that actually happened to him etc...

Pete Towhnsend is an absolute cock on it and there's a great part in Keef's interview where he's saying he just sits and writes songs, he doesn't wait for an inspiration because the idea of some divine music being sent from above is stupid. The guy mentions that this is how Pete described where he gets his tunes from and Keef (rather politically might I add) rips him to shreds for being such a self absrobed cunt

Lately I listen a lot to "Paradise" of the "The Rising" album. I such an emotional and moving song. It's so brillantly written because of the contrast which is shown. On the one side how the character smells, feels and brushs his girlfriend or daughter, so that you get a description of what life could be. And then on the other side the picture of the "empty paradise".

Am I right that the song is about a suicide bomber?

Cant believe I never answered this one...

1) Why do you like him/them?

Classic performer and the original storyteller.. all his songs are great, deep and meaningful... amazing artist!

2) Best album?

Too hard!!! The River and the Rising

3) Best Song?

Tougher than the rest, Brilliant disguise, waiting on a sunny day and the River

4) Best gig you've seen?

Acoustic show in Rotterdam, I think in 2006... cant really remember now, but it was amazing!! He was brilliant in 2008 too in Amsterdam, ended on American Land and we saw Because the Night for the first time since 1972!!!
