The Official Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band Thread.

I would argue that album covers (or artwork ) can be classed as art. Thorgersen's stuff he did with Floyd and the London Calling cover being the obvious examples but the BTR cover is fantastic as are a lot of other artists.

Modern day I can only thing of Muse as having particularly cool cover work.

I love Thorgerson's artwork for Pink Floyd - always did. I have an entire book of prints of stuff that he did.

I've got a print of the marching hammers from the wall waiting to go up alongside Bruce and Clarence. I was going to buy it in oil but the black ended up looking a kind of strange browny green colour so I passed.

I'm forever on the lookout for the DSOTM prism and the heads from Division Bell in oil too.

My Springsteen print must be a good one. My old man's usual response to any paintings or prints I buy is "why'd you waste your money on that?" today he said "that's quite nice isn't it?"

Bruce and E-street will film songs from The Promise down in Asbury on Tuesday for a future webcast according to Backstreets! Sounds like it's gonna be outside as well!! Lucky those who can go anyways. Backstreets are selecting fans to be on the set.

I have sent in my e-mail (twice since I have 2 different e-mail addresses) and so has my husband. If we're lucky and we will get picked, we will stand around on the beach in December and freeze our asses off so we can listen to Bruce.

I will say this again - we are all crazy

Gave a friend a couple of Springsteen albums to check out last night, no doubt we'll have another convert to the Bruce club

My Darkness boxset arrived today and holy shit it's cool.

I bought it when I was drunk and just expected it to be a box with the discs in it like most other boxsets. The scrap book thing is very cool.

And all the schools are shut tomorrow so I have a whole day to relax and enjoy it
