So it looks like a bit of a second leg is taking shape. You're in Chicago so perhaps there is hope LOL

EDIT - Oh fabulous. So what was the "last show" yesterday is now just the third of 5 shows. And the shows are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday . . . Thursday, Friday. That's fine if you live in NJ, but not so hot for fans who were making the trip for the shows. <sigh> The next ticket scramble isn't until Monday, so I have a few days to ponder my options.
This has Old Wembley Stadium and new Wembley Stadium written all over it. BJ Tour promoters did exactly the same to us. Good marketing tecniques, but not so great for the fans who wanna attend 'the final show'...

The same thing happened with Billy Joel and Shea Stadium last year.

Well I'm off to Stockholm for a rainy weekend of concerts at least the first one, hopefully it will stop raining before Friday evening....there's a good request right there! Who'll stop the rain?

Yeah, I know the whole "last show" thing has been done before. It's really that big gap between shows that's causing me the most trouble.

You know you're a Bruce fan when this post doesn't even surprise you. I've been reading about the Stockholm weather over on Greasy Lake LOL. Under normal circumstances I know nothing about the weather in Stockholm.

I hope you have a blast - even if the weather sucks. Stockholm always gets good shows.

In 2003 Terri - the Giants shows started on July 15th and finally ended on August 31. It was an entire summer of Bruce shows. I can't imagine that many people who flew here for shows stayed the entire time - unless they were independently wealthy.

Even the Bon Jovi shows in 2006 had a gap of 11 days between the 2nd and 3rd show.

Well so far it's only been a few showers but rather cold. They're threatening with more rain later on but tomorrow and Sunday looks promising. So far there's 6-700 in the queue. We're at the hotel for a break before the next roll call.

Gothenburg has sun today so we all wish they would play there instead...but we can't have it all can we?? The Gothenburg shows are legendary so let's see if the Stockholm crowd can beat us.
