That is one hell of a setlist AnnSophie - you guys really got a great show for the finale - The River and Trapped too. I hope you enjoyed all 3 shows - you forget about the cold soon enough but you'll remember the music. And I haven't seen any boots from Stockholm yet but I'm hoping they will show up pretty soon now that the shows are over

You can think of us freezing our asses off in Giants Stadium in mid-October here LOL. And I won't complain a bit - I'll wear long underwear and drink gin to keep warm - but I'll be there
The audience was more on their toes last night, due to the sun coming out of course, but also Bruce seemed very happy and joked a lot and the entire band smiled a lot too.

We've been spoiled by Bruce these past years with him playing these rarities. I head today that one of the guys on the Swedish Springsteen Forum works for a radio station in Stockholm that Steve visited on Wednesday and played some music for a couple of hours and this guy asked Steve if he could pursuade Bruce to play FA. No way Steve answered he won't play it but I can always nag a bit....and then they did it at soundcheck! and Steve then saw the request sign for it and Bruce could not avoid it any longer!
The funny thing about this is that this is the same guy that managed to pursuade Bruce to play it during his solo tour in -05.

I will keep you in mind Kathleen during the Giant shows for sure. You do forget your wet and cold once the band hit the stage but your body remembers it for hours afterwards! lol!

So I got Born In The U.S.A. Heard it once and the first song that really caught me is Downbound Train. Lyrics, mood is just amazing

Funny to read your opinion of that song. In my opinion it is one of the dullest songs on BITUSA but then again, a lot of peole like I'm on Fire too

I salute you,

I don't know I am not a depressed person or so... but such a dark mood and sad vibe always gets me

That's one of my favorites, too. They actually opened with it at the second Stockholm show -

Maybe not a typical opener, but it looks like it worked. I'd love to hear it live.

I heard this at one of the Giants shows in 2003. I would describe the song as a mood killer. Don't get me wrong - I was glad to hear it played live - but it sucked all the energy out of Giants Stadium for a while LOL

Maybe that wasn't a problem in Sweden because they went straight into Badlands after it!
