I didn't know that you had listened to enough bootlegs to really appreciate it but clearly you did. I saw 10 shows on the Magic tour and I didn't hear Trapped - and it's just one of those moments (as is Jungleland).

I have to agree about Jay, I saw him play on Born to run last summer at Giants and he was excellent. But that is only one song. The recent two nights in Boston he played on entirely different songs which is the best way to do it. By the time he gets to Europe he will have played most everything. And sure he keeps his eyes on Bruce - would you want to piss off the Boss by missing a cue? LOL.

And Annsofie, I think that Patti will join the band in Europe. Bruce told us in Boston that she was thrown from her horse and had some cracked ribs - and that she would miss a few shows.

I texted you yesterday Terri - I don't know if you got it. I was so excited about your first show too. I'm so glad you got a good one - though in my experience there are no bad Bruce shows. Some are better than others, that's all.

Tomorrow night for me again - whoo hoo. Philly shows are always good. See you in Jersey
I'm glad to hear that you liked the setlist, Kathleen. I loved it, but what do I know? And the Backstreets board wasn't impressed at all. Good lord, folks.

Regarding Jay, there's watching Bruce . . . and then there's boring holes in Bruce with your eyes. LOL On the extended drum section at the end of Radio Nowhere, they were locked eye-to-eye through the whole thing to the point that you could almost see the electricity sizzle between them. I wasn't sure who was urging whom on, though! The arena really did go nuts for the kid. The whole band sure seemed to be enjoying the moment, too. Maybe a little very young (but very familiar) blood is a good thing for the band.

I forgot to mention that Patti was still absent. Bruce dedicated Kingdom of Days to her again and explained that she was still recoving from 1) the fall from the horse and 2) the whiplash he gave her when he drove her to the hospital. He said she'd be back "soon."

Sorry, Kathleen, I didn't get the text because I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't have text at this point. I wish the message would bounce back telling the sender that, but evidently it doesn't.

Have a great time in Philly! I can't wait to see what makes those setlists. I sure wish I could go to Greensboro this weekend, but I'll be busy eating that rubber chicken at a banquet at a dog show in Ohio. What sucky timing. Jovi's playing in New Orleans and Bruce is in Greensboro. I could drive to either one without any trouble.
