I can't say I remember any words being said between the two of them. Was there anything said after the release of the Something for the Pain video?

Yeah- there were a couple of comments that Vedder made.

That's a discussion we had a while ago...the clip doesn't exist anymore but it was quite derogatory, calling Jon Bon a 40 year old butt-rocker and that being the image of America - where is the world heading type of thing. And he said some other things. Then again, Mike McCready spoke quite respectfully of them in the early 1990s but he's more of an old-school rocker and appreciated Sambora, so maybe that's why.

Mind Your Manners sounds good, love that jittery riff! It does sound like Spin The Black Circle, or Save You ... I wonder how the album as a whole is going to sound? Looking forward to it immensely!

When I first heard the new song I wasn't too sure. Now after listening to it a few times it's grown on me and I love it!!!

Liking what I hear. If this is anything to go by I think this will be a much edgier, punk sounding album, slightly away from their previous offering.
