One of my favorite bands ever. Ten is the best album of the 90s IMO.

Looking forward to the next album. They really care about their fans, releasing tons of material and good performances.

'Ten' is amazing but I've always thought 'Vs.' was a more fluid and better album as a whole.

Agree.

Their last few albums have been very patchy though although backspacer was more consistant.

The 2006 self titled album was their best since Vs. IMO. Backspacer was decent but a little short and lightweight

I thought 'Backspacer' was really good. 'Unthought Known', 'Got Some', 'Amongst The Waves', 'Just Breathe' and 'Speed Of Sound' are great tracks.

There indeed are some pretty good tracks on it, but as a whole, the album just isn't that convincing. 'Shortweight' is an accurate description.

This is very true.

A very special band. No other global band of their size, quality and importance is as fan-focused which makes them a true force.

Also, Eddie Vedder could well be the messiah.

Have you heard that they might release an album by the end of the year? I've read somewhere that they have got 7 songs already.

Russ, YES! From their Facebook: “It’s almost done and as far as what it sounds like, it sounds like Pearl Jam." - Stone Gossard on the forthcoming Pearl Jam album.
