Hi Alex, have you heard Stone's new album as well?

Really? Haven't listened to any of the side projects. Maybe I should check some out.
And a countdown has begun apparently. New album? Single? See http://pearljam.com/countdown

Saw this earlier. Official new album announcement I'd imagine. They did something similar with their self titled release if I remember correctly - unveiling the artwork piece by piece.

Really hope they play next years Download Festival. After the rumours they wee going to play this year I was disappointed when we ended up with Slipknot.

There were rumours kicking about on the Saturday that Mike McCready was going to show up and play with Walking Papers as they have jammed together in the States, again unfortunately this didn't happen.

There is a great video of them play "River of Deceit" by Mad Season at a gig in Seattle.

Hope they come to the UK. They're one of two bands I need to see before they break up (the other being Aerosmith).

I managed to see them last year in Manchester and hands down one of the greatest gigs I have ever been too. Pearl Jam have an ability to turn a massive venue like the Manchester Arena and making it feel like a club size intimate gig.

not much to do with the topic (don't really like Pearl Jam much - more of a Vedder singer/songwriter stuff fan)...but, here's a pic of Jon Bon Bon with Vedder looking strangely happy. Didn't he make some really acid remarks in the past? Ah well...all feuds come to an end eventually

Thanks for posting that, DevilsSon! I always thought Vedder hated Jon. I realise this picture doesn't disprove that at all but it's still pretty nice to see.
