Concert is this coming Thursday, and I must say I'm getting really psyched. Granted, I've heard a lot of mixed things here and elsewhere, but with everything going on in my personal life atm, I need the fix of concerts I have in the next few weeks.

I still can't get off the high of the Chicago show last week, it was just so amazing, I truly didn't want the night to end. The show was just brilliant, I loved every minute of it.

I've been in an out following setlists. When did they drop Pride? It's one of my favorite U2 songs.

It won't be your favorite anymore once you heard Bono sing it. The song sounds really horrible these days.

I salute you,
TS

Yeah, it doesn't sound too good from the videos, but since I see more U2 as more of a "one time" band then a numerous gig one, I'll be disappointed if I don't get it TBH.

They dropped it at the show I went to which was Chicago night 2, and i believe they kept it off since.

I've wanted to see U2 live for a long time, and I was really excited for this show. However, it was getting slightly overshadowed in my brain by the two Springsteen shows and the Blink/FOB/AAR extravaganza that are coming up in the next two weeks. Well, that's a mistake I'll never make again.

Setlist:
1. Breathe
2. Get On Your Boots
3. Mysterious Ways
4. Beautiful Day W/ Blackbird (Beatles cover)
5. No Line On The Horizon
6. Magnificent
7. Elevation
8. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For W/ Stand By Me
9. Unknown Caller
10. Until The End Of The World
11. Stay (Faraway, So Close)
12. The Unforgettable Fire
13. City of Blinding Lights
14. Vertigo W/ It's Only Rock N' Roll (Rolling Stones cover)
15. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Crazy Tonight W/ Miss You (Rolling Stones Cover) intro
16. Sunday Bloody Sunday W/ Rock The Casbah (Clash Cover)
17. MLK
18. Walk On

Encore 1:
19. One W/ All You Need Is Love (Beatles cover)
20. Where The Streets Have No Name W/ Amazing Grace intro

Encore 2:
21. Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
22. With Or Without You
23. Moment of Surrender

Let me just say that the 360* is quite an impressive structure, and when it's used to full effect, it's amazing. The moving screens and catwalks are a sight to behold, and the lighting rig was unbelievable. This was, by far, the best lit show I've ever seen. Now, all that being said, the pretty bells and whistles would have meant nothing without a kickass show, and that's what we got. I've been hearing some negative things about U2 live lately, but none of them were true tonight. The setlist was more or less typical of the 360* Tour shows, but the mixing up of the opening five really gave the show a much better flow. The only problems I had with the set were minor (still don't like opening, and especially closing on unknown songs, and the lack of Pride (In The Name Of Love)) The band was on fire, and Bono sounded much better than I've heard other make him out to be. Even his political spiels were short, and didn't take anything way from the show, and I appreciated his shout outs to Springsteen and Bon Jovi. All in all, I'm really just in awe of the band right now, and how much the show moved me (Especially City of Blinding Lights, and Where The Streets Have No Name) Just amazing. Muse was better than I thought they'd be, though the sound mix absolutely sucked for the first two songs.
