Never been a U2 fan myself, either. If I remember correctly, the song you mentioned was actually a cover song they did for the Batman soundtrack. Another one I think actually rocked was "When Love Came To Town".

I don´t mean they wouldn´t have had their moments, of course. But during the last 25 years, I´ve heard far too many times how "U2 is art, Bon Jovi is commercial recycled crap". I strongly disagree.
