Default The Tour: KISS and Motley Crue

KISS and Motley Crue are doing a tour together lasting from July to September, hitting over 40 cities.

Dates here: http://www.kissonline.com/tour

Having seen both KISS and Motley Crue live before, I'd love to go to this show. I'm a little confused though as I'm looking through the prices for my concert (Phoenix, AZ) and there are only 2 ticket brackets, at 39 dollars and 186 dollars.
That's quite a big gap and I'm not about to spend 186 dollars on this show as that's coincidentally the exact amount of money I have. I'm worried 39 dollars is lawn-only, but that wouldn't make sense because the rest of the pavillion shouldn't be equally priced. Sales are open to the public on Friday so I guess I'll wait and see.

I hope this comes to the UK!

I am too, actually. I'm also noticing that the up-front Crue VIP packages at $1400 per ticket don't make Bon Jovi look so bad anymore.

They're actually the Motley Crue packages. I don't know how much the KISS packages cost but I know they include an 18K gold ring... way to drive up the prices Mr. $immons. That being said, the actual ticket-only options aren't ridiculous compared to some Bon Jovi shows I've seen.

The good seats for this show are more expensive than the last couple of Bon Jovi tours. Pisses me off. It was just Motley, it wouldn't be so bad. But Gene and Paul are such greedy whores, they don't give a crap about what they charge. I hope Motley plays first. I'll only probably stick around for half of KISS. They're such phonies now. Eric and Tommy dressed up like Peter and Ace, Gene wearing a wig.

Haha LOL

Top Bon Jovi "diamond ring" VIP packages were $2000, AND you didn't get to meet them, no autographs, no pictures with the band and didn't get an 18 karat gold ring or whatever. BUT WAIT! YOU GOT TO TAKE THE CHAIR YOU SAT IN HOME WITH YOU!

Greedy whores, you say, danfan? Think twice. This ticket needs to pay both large scale bands Motley Crue and KISS. Bon Jovi charged the same and for the most part didn't have opening bands! (Except during the Stadium tour - where more revenue covered their asses)

And of course Motley will be opening for them. They're a dying band, I've seen them twice (Crue Fest 1 and the dead of winter canadian tour) and they really should have downgraded the venue for the second show, because I would estimate 7000/15000 seats were taken.

I saw Motley Crue in June of last year at the same place I'm seeing them this year (just bought tickets today, $72 for pretty decent seats) and it was more or less almost full. I also saw a Vince Neil at a solo show in December and that was pretty full too though it was a tiny place, only held about 2,000 people or so. I did also see KISS in 2010 and that was almost sold out too, so I have no doubt this show is going to sell pretty nicely, at least where I live.

1.Neither KISS or Motley are on Bon Jovi's level.
2.Gene and Paul ARE greedy whores. And they'd be the 1st to tell you.
3.It's not an opening slot. It's a co-headlining tour. They'll both have their own full stage.
