Default Thunder.

I want a proper discussion about this brilliant band. Danny Bowes is a fantastic vocalist in my opinion and his voice has not deteriorated at all. Unlike certain other lead vocalists of bands. Luke Morley does a decent job on guitar as ll. Please listen to these couple of songs:

I'll be waiting:

The Only One:

Thanks for the links, I'd never heard of them before. Surely they are a very unknown indie band that just started? When were they formed? Anyway, I'll go them out.

Edit: From what I just heard it sounds a bit like Michael Bolton, that's not really my cup of tea, sorry!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Funny you ask Seb. They are a band predominant in the 90s (infact formed very late '89) from a town in England called London.

I thoroughly recommend the Backstreet Symphony album. This was their "Slippery"

Ha, you ignowant Euwopean. Evewyone knows London is in Canada, not England. What's next, claiming England isn't a state in Euwope but a countwy?

If thewe awe spelling ewwows I apologize befowehand, I am on my smawtphone saying the wowds but its making all sorts of ewwows all the time that awe hawd to cowwect.

Back on topic; I like Thunder. They remind me of Status Quo and AC/DC in a way. They know what they're good at so they keep doing it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Naughty.....

Buy/download/rip the live album with the Union Jack on the front cover. Great live and very tight. True about they know what they're good at. Maybe things would be different with another band if they kept to what we love(d)

I've never really listened to a full album of Thunder, but I have their greatest hits album and I like it. Danny is mostly great but he does have a tendency to screech sometimes in the upper registry. But I like them, especially when they play 80s styled songs like Flawed To Perfection.

Listening to their "Behind closed doors" album from 1994 right now. Opening for Bon Jovi in 1995 they promoted this one. It has an excellent "transparent" mid-90s rock production. Wish some albums would be produced like that nowadays.
