Is it just me, or they just don't play Into the great wide open live that much? I mean, it's not on any of their live releases (video or audio). What's up with that? It's one of my favorite Petty songs, and the one that made me a fan. Love to see it live sometimes.

And on another note, have they ever played Echo live?

I'm not sure if it's NEVER been played after, but it's been "retired" since Howie Epstein died, as he used to provide the soaring backing vocals on the chorus

Mine would look somewhat different (though not with Mojo, since I've yet to listen to it enough times) I know it's more "mainstream", but it's honestly my picks out of the catalogue.

1. The Waiting
2. The Last DJ
3. Handle With Care (Traveling Wilburys)
4. Century City
5. I Won't Back Down
6. Mary Jane's Last Dance
7. Insider
8. Here Comes My Girl
9. Stories We Could Tell (John Sebastian Cover)
10. Even The Losers
11. Louisiana Rain
12. I Need To Know
13. Money Becomes King
14. Don't Do Me Like That
15. Into The Great Wide Open
16. Don't Come Around Here No More
17. Southern Accents
18. Keeping Me Alive
19. Honey Bee
20. Learning To Fly
21. Runnin' Down a Dream

Encore 1:
22. Something In The Air (Thunderclap Newman Cover)
23. Refugee
24. Free Fallin'

Encore 2:
25. Anything That's Rock N' Roll
26. American Girl

*I know The Waiting isn't a typical type of concert opener, but i think the first verse exemplifies the opening of a concert better than any other song ever written.*

Are you kidding? It's a perfect opener, you are hooked into the riff from the first note, then the build up to that opening line, you have a *massive* chorus within a minute. Awesome tune!

Gotta say, I'm not in love with Mojo at the moment.

I've only listened to it once so far, but I'm not either. There were a couple of songs that I liked, but most of didn't thrill me. And I kept looking to see if I was at the end yet. That's not a good sign . . .

I keep thinking I should listen again, but instead I listen to the new release from either The Gaslight Anthem or Southside Johnny. I loved both of those from first listen!

I really like the Pirates Cove song, but other than that it feels like background music. Not bad, just kind of there. To be fair though, it is competing with Gaslight Anthem's American Slang for my listens right now.

I'll need to listen to it a few more times before I make an opinion. Pirate's Cove did stand out for me and I'm loving Good Enough.
